Our journey began in 2020 in Karur, Tamil Nadu. As two engineering graduates with a deep passion for photography, we set out to create the kind of beautiful, meaningful wedding photographs that couples like you dream of.
When we started, we noticed something close to home. Couples in Karur wanted the kind of beautiful, thoughtfully crafted wedding photography and cinematography they discovered on Pinterest and Instagram, but there were fewer local options offering that level of visual style and overall experience. We wanted to change that.
Our goal was never simply to take photographs. We wanted to create an experience around the way a wedding is documented, from the way our team presents itself and interacts with the couple, to the way we approach light, composition, emotions and every little detail of the celebration.
What began in Karur gradually grew through word of mouth and the trust of our couples. We expanded our work across Coimbatore and the Kongu region, and eventually began documenting weddings and celebrations across Tamil Nadu.
Today, Yellow Light Photography has grown into a dedicated team of photographers and cinematographers, equipped to handle everything from intimate celebrations to large-scale weddings. While our team has grown, the idea that started it all remains the same, to create photographs and films that feel beautiful, intentional and timeless.
